Ubuntu Cloud Servers: Adding Network Sharing

    Hey Guys,

So I opened a cloud account for a little project I'm working on and so far so good. (€7pm per machine btw - bargin!)

All my machines are running Xubuntu Desktop and running the software I need perfectly, but I need to enable network sharing, so all my machines can share files locally.

Now the cloud provider has give me a couple hundred IP's I can use but I'm not too sure where to stick them in Ubuntu.

Is it the same as adding a just a second IP to Windows?
    Whats my gateway?

The only details I have from the host are:

    Cheers, Guys! Nearly There! :pac:

    Got it....

I opened /etc/network/interfaces and just copy pasted the last couple of lines and changed the IP's.
So now i've two network adapters is use, one for inside the could and to move files between my servers, one for web access.

    Job Done! :)

The reason this was trickier than normal Ubuntu is because the Xubuntu GUI network editor seems buggy, and thats even if you manage to get it open!
