OK, so - Any gearheads wanna rent me an amp/cab/guitar?

I've tried all the backline places and the selection seems dire...

I need:

Vintage Twin or Selmer Combo
Orange Cabinet
A guitar like fender tele (sorry, but no strats) with humbuckers...

Please don't have awesome stuff then try and charge me BS prices.

It's for a video shoot, you can come and be in the video, I'll pay you a fair price (which we can discuss) and be very careful... so you and your gear can be in the video, etc.

PLEASE!

Need for one day at end of Feb/Beginning of March.
Venue is probably the village.

It's v specific for a reason.

Own a nice orange head, need a matching cab.

Own one killer guitar, but need a second similar I so I can have a consistant sound from song to song. The issue being the songs are in two different tunings.

Hate most all modern amps, don't use any kind of high gain stuff, but need something loud and warm that'll break up if I push it a bit.

Best example I've heard of that is 70s Fender Twins, some orange amps and some vox amps.

Hope that's pretty clear.

I've a '65 Vox AC50 head if that's any good?
No Orange cab or Tele with Humbuckers though.
It is a pretty damn specific list!!

Hmm don't know from 80s Twins. Is it similar to the 70s ones? I'll have to do some research. thanks for the potential offer!

Nope, no matching cab.
Matching gear is not all that important to me as long it sounds good.

Same here, my orange head, fir instance, sounds miles better IMO, through Orange cabs. That's my interest.

Course, this is gonna be filmed from three angles, so it'd be NICE if it looked cool

Wow! That's super kind!

And I'm very specific because the sound will be live... so it's not a lip sync thing, but a live performance recorded, with real sound!

Seriously though, please PM me when that AC30 is around!

BTW: How's this for **** luck... just played a gig and my* second guitar was stolen. Piece of ****, but still, who does that?!

*It belonged to my drummer, and really was an awful Squier Strat.

OK, looks like amp now sorted... gonna rent a proper vintage twin and a cab for my orange head... 100 euro for both... oh well..

here's one though... and a bit easier.. maybe...

anyone have any pedals they'd loan/cheaply rent for the same project?

One morning's use, you can be in the crowd during the video shoot... good craic, etc.

Looking for: a non-fuzz gain/boost, reverb, EQ, delay.

I have access to some kinda plain jane ones, but am hoping someone will wanna geek out about their gear a bit (I used to loan out my gear all the time, when I had some... I like evangelising about gear) and kindly step forward with the little favour!
