Remington Pearl Wand

Just incase anyone is stuck between this and the Babyliss one, I opted for this one cos I tried a friends babyliss one, was ok but curls didnt last that long and only reviews claimed the Pearl to be better

The Pearl wand goes to 210 degrees where as the Babyliss one is only 200, so I think that's why the Pearl works best for me as I have long thick hair that no other curler could ever curl.

And the Pearl is a god sent heats in a flash and curls in seconds!!! Has the full size proper glove with it, not the mitten type ones and a draw string, heat resistant pouch. Still prefer to use a long hair clip to hold the hair than the glove cos i still catch my wrist off with the glove and get burnt, the clip give me that litttttle bit more length to avoid all burns :)

    Happy days

I hate babyliss products with a passion I find them absolutely useless  I used to have Remington curler I gave it to my sister and that worked fine in my hair but I am loving the Nicky Clarke one I have. It was only 25 quid :D so it didn't break the bank.

I have the Remington and love it!
Any tips on how to get curls to stay in fine hair though? Mine always looks lovely with it but they fall out in an hour, even with buckets of hairspray. Saw on Xpose they were pinning the curls up.. no clue how to do this though!

(Sorry for hijacking thread a bit there, but defo go with Remington, I find all babyliss products are shockin from experience!) :)

    Hi,

I got mine in boots for €33.99, Heatons and Argos have them too, range from 29.99 to 33.99 from what I have seen at the mo, I had 20 quid boots vouchers so I got from there

Try applying mousse first. Holds curls much better than hairspray!

I find it brilliant. Used the wand there on Wednesday afternoon as I was going to a ball - 2 days later the curls are still perfect! Shame I have to go wash it now :p

Got mine in Blanchardstown. Tho the girl said they were only new into their store, think any of the stores with a good electrical selection should have them.

Got mine in Argos last week, only €28 yoyo's! Absolutely love it!

I was told by a hairdresser to wash my hair the day before getting it curled and also not to use conditioner so the curls would hold better/last longer!

I've tried both, the Babyliss one worked best for me.

Got free glove with it too.
