Spotted this in my local bike shop today, had a similar one when I was racing. It's a Raparee frame ..

Jasus. Johnny should bring that out on a club ride. Last time I saw one of them (the softride that is) a huge dodgy looking guy was wheeling it through Kings Cross in Sydney. It didn't exactly look like it was his bike either. Would love one in the collection.

About 16 years ago my cousin won a mountain bike with one of those. The bike was worth £800 which back then was huge money for a bike. Thing is the bike was beyond crap. Wheels were the cheapest of the cheap and the less said about the groupset the better. Essentially it was a £100 bike at best with about £700 worth of carbon fiber bar strapped on holding the saddle!
