    hey rodriquez,

Yes, I went last year I think to the Flims side, we stayed in the Snowboarder palace or something like that.

On the Flims side, everything is beside the gondola station - bars, shops, restaurants etc.

Bars - it was kinds quiet when we were there so we just tried a different bar every night and moved around. The three main bars are less than a minute from each other.

Restaurants - In the same area as the bars they have a noodle bar which was decent. There's a restaurant at the back of a Wine shop which was only OK, where you get steaks etc. My favorite place was in one of the Hotels, if you are there its the biggest hotel in the area with a red neon sign. Anyway, food was very good and the service was excellent too. The also have a couple of pizza places around too but we think they were anything special.

On the slopes - the resort isnt huge so you will easily cover it in a week. They have a decent snowpark with an free airbag which is fun. They have a long run from the top of the gondolla to the bottom of laax which is kinda fun but my god its a killer for snowboarders - there's a very long flat section which is not in anyway!

Thats about all I can think of at the moment.

Nice one dude - thanks for all the info - we're only heading for a long weekend so sounds like there should be enough to keep us busy - I like the sound of the airbag :)

If your staying in the riders palace, which is a pretty good spot by the way. Ask for a room at the top. They have a nightclub underneath which can get quite loud some times. Its also got a pretty decent bar.

The Airbag is super fun!! it really throws you up in the air but its difficult to hurt yourself once you land on the airbag. On your first go, just do a straight air to test it out.

we're staying in Flims in a similar place to the riders palace called arena lodge for riders, we did it on the cheap so doubt we'll have much choice on the room location. I have a feeling we'll be close enough to the loudest part of the hotel

cheers for the tips on the airbag - will deffo be trying it out with a regular air/splat type effort first :)
