AA Car Servicing - Anyone use it

I recommended it to a friend who was hassling me to service her car in December as I was too busy in work (I normally do it).

She works in Sandyford and they came and done it outside her work and done it. Stamped her service book and that kinda thing too. She hadn't any complaints and found it pretty handy that she didn't have the hassle of taking it to the garage.

I actually know the 2 guys who do it for the AA but I'm really not being biased, it was seriously handy.

    Thanks for that.
Im thinking I might get it done. No time to leave it in and then collect it.
Im surprised there arent others doing this either.

Fairly interesting. Seems a good price and from what they offer it seems better than most garages

Oil and filter change from €159  No thanks. Before it's mentioned I know they'll do a 1459 point check too, ie glance at all levels, make sure the shocks aren't leaking and that the brake pads still have friction material on them.

Still, more attractive then the hassle of dropping your car off at a garage and collecting it later.

Im just a bit worried they'll check everything, see something wrong and just tell me to bring it to a garage to get that fixed because they dont have the part.
Thereby not really saving m any trip to the garage at all.
    Ill see what happens though

As far as I know (and don't Quote me on this :o), if your car needs anything else like parts or exhaust or whatever they give you a quote on the cost and then come back and do it at a time that suits you, I'm almost certain but sure just ask em.

Do come back an let us know how it went.
