BBC iPlayer access on Freesat

    Hi all,

Is it possible to view BBC iPlayer on Freesat in the Rep. Of Ireland?

I've a Goodmans HD Freesat box hooked up to Vodafone (landline) broadband. I can access the BBC iPlayer menus but when I select to view a program the connection is lost. I presume it's restricted to UK ip addresses only. Is there a way around this?
    Thanks,

    S

I use blackVPN but it doesn't seem to solve the Freesat conundrum.
