management agents apartment block

i own an apartment in a block. two of the owners are the directors of the management company, they do it on a voluntary basis.

what if the agent who was initally employed to manage the company by the property developers (now in receivership), refused to allow the directors to move to another agent?
the company has a legal contract, signed by the directors last year, which expires on a clearly specified date, this year.
what if, when the directors indicated that they will not be renewing the contract on this date and the agent retaliated by cutting off services to the block, eg cleaning landscaping etc, and refused to have them re-instated until the directors agreed to sign a new 3 year contract, even though the old one still has several months left to run, and the members of the company wish to move?

anyone got any advice? many thanks
    fourlos

This type of dispute has so many possible twists and turns that there really is no shortcut, talk to a solicitor.
