young couple's destination suggestions

Hi all,

Just looking for some suggestions for a holiday destination for me and my girlfriend ( both late 20's ) for the start of September,

Ideally we are looking for somewere that is a fairly lively but with a bit of class as such and without the larger lout element

Think half way between Ibiza and Lanzarote nightlife wise

If any one has some suggestions or experiances i would be gratefull

i came on here with the same question and was recommended lagos in portugal by several people so we've booked it for may.
Its got fab beaches and old town quarters plus great nightlife but not one of them tacky 'ibiza uncovered' places which i hate! you should go on tripadvisor and look at the pics, it looks unreal, surfers love it, very laidback,we cant wait!!:)

I possibly recommended Lagos to the poster above and suggest it again. There are lots of restaurants and bars but no awful nightclubs. Definitely no larger louts there! We stayed in the Marina Club on the marina.

Myself and the other half love this place. Zakynthos island in Greece. Brilliant cheap food. Nice nightlife. Brilliant place really. Argassi is the best resort I think.
