I'd vote for them on the principle that they created the mess and should be responsible for cleaning it up

So will I for sure. Think about it – they’ve done a great job so far because lets be fair nobody knew the recession was coming. They reacted well and their entire cabinet have sterling reputations.

Willie O’Dea – fine fella on Defence on knows what he’s talking about when it comes to aul brothel or two
Mary Coughlin – complete straight shooter with no waffle or spin about her. Huge potential
Batt O’Keefe – Got to where he is on tackling the issues and putting the country first…..don’t listen to anyone who says he’s there because he’s mates with aul Cowen.
Noel Dempsey – worth his salt for his many years in politics….he’d be my number 1 even if Barrack Obama was on the sheet.
Brian Lendahand – again, another straight up gentleman who’d never shaft a colleague to get himself ahead. Always put the country first in all of his dealings. He deserves a spot on the government even if another party get in.
Brian Cowen – Top man of the Irish gentry – loves a pint, enjoys the craic, does a phenomenal impression of Philip Walton and a true delegator in every sense of the term.

For these reasons FF are my number 1 on the 25th!

In the end, I will probably vote for Fianna Fail. Why? Do you really want someone like Enda Kenny or Eamon Gilmore running the country? Sure the FF boys screwed us, but in the good times we never complained. All Kenny and Gilmore could do was sit in opposition and find fault in everything thing that was done.

Best of a bad bunch I suppose.

Because I suspect you might be a slow-learner, I've made this as simple as possible: The red part answers the italicised part. Fianna Fail screwed us... and you still intend to vote for them. There really is no hope for some people.

but in the good times we never complained.

People did complain. Their complaints were dismissed as "cribbing and moaning" and they were basically told to go and commit suicide.

...and by extension, if they fail to "clean it up" and the mess is still there, you'll presumably vote for them again because it's still their mess.

So you vote for them when they fck things up. And you presumably also vote for them when they don't fck things up. Which means you vote for them no matter what they do. Which is idiotic.

Or, you vote for them when they fck things up, and you vote for someone else when they don't fck things up. Which is insane.

Basically, there is no possible justification for voting FF in this election.

No we want Brian Cowen back. The best taoiseach the country has ever seen flanked by the best Tanaiste and Minister for Finance in history.

A truly awe inspiring leadership team who have screwed the country so badly that we'll never recover
