I’ve been in receipt of social welfare for more than seven months now, don’t have exact date to hand but received a letter from social welfare with a form that they want me to send back to them. There isn’t much detail in the letter but they refer to the fact my social welfare is limited to 9 or 12 months. The letter is a bit vague. Anyhow, could someone who has been through this process please explain it to me?
Currently on JA having been switched from JB having picked up part-time work.
Am I likely to be refused social welfare once the PRSI contributions once they run out?
Also, where and how can I find how many PRSI contributions I have made?
    What’s likely to happen
    Very confused!
    Cheers
