    Hi All,

    I am going to view a Jeep Cherokee, 2005, 2.8, 6 spd.
Anybody got any view on this ?

Living in the sticks, got burnt during December with the weather, also need it to haul my bike around.

    Thanks !

Hi I had a couple of the newer model cherokees (curvey type) '03 2.5 crd 05 2.7 crd.
i was very happy with them initially 30 mpg ish for the 2.5 and a bit lower for 2.7 (im getting the same consumption rate from a '07 2.0 suzuki now, I was happy till the repairs bills started to mount, rear drive shaft on '05 commercial had to be replaced (it has a tendency to go as i was told afterwards) €500 + labour= €900. traded it and got 2.7 passenger only for that to need a new gear box after 18 months (not covered under warranty) €3700 in repairs Got rid at a huge loss and bought a '07 suzuki as a cheap stop gap.
In all i would never buy a Jeep again, lovely to drive, good enough of road and fairly reliable but The repair bills and the dealer service were brutal for me nearly as bad as a defender:D:p just make sure get it really checked out before you buy. good luck

Thanks for the heads up so far.
