Apologies if this is posted somewhere else, im sure it is.

I have a Dell Latitude E6400 laptop and would like to connect it to my Sharp Aquos TV so I can watch movies, TV shows etc off it. My laptop has a VGA 15 pin connection but my TV does not have this. TV has a HDMI connection.

What is the best way of connecting my laptop to TV in order to get good picture and audio?

    Many thanks

You can get a cable VGA/HDMI (it means that VGA standard will be converted for HDMI)
f.e. : there are hundreds on ebay http://shop.ebay.ie/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1311&_nkw=vga+to+hdmi

    Hope it helps

Thanks. I had seen these aswell but researched a bit and found that they dont work for laptops.

I think I need a coverter box that has both VGA and HDMI ports, and insert the two cables. Anyone done it this?
