    Hi, I need help to put contour lines onto a drawing, can anyone help me through this. I use autoCAD 2002.

    You can't if you just have AutoCAD 2002.

    Whats your source data, and how much of it are we talking about in terms of number of points and area covered?

    If your looking to generate contours from a DTM you'll need MAP3D or Civil3D, or ArcGIS or similar. Then export contours to DWG/DXF.

    If you have a small area and a few spot levels marked on you're better resorting to drawing something up by eye, depending on what its to be used for.
