Im wondering if anybody might be able to help me?

I’ve a €250 one-for-all voucher and want to see if I can get the money into my paypal account to pay for something online.

I can buy a virtual credit card (at a cost of €7.50) with the one-for-all voucher, but after this is done can the balance of €242.50 then be transferred into my paypal by adding it as a card to my paypal account?

I dont want to simply by a virtual credit card if it can't be done as it will be a waste of €7.50 and I can't use two separate credit cards cards (the virtual one and my real one) to pay for the single item

    Thanks in advance

Short answer, no. Paypal have no agreement/arrangement with One4all.

You can add the virtual credit card to Paypal, but you won't be able to transfer the amount into your Paypal account. Funds cannot be added from a credit card of any kind. You can use the virtual card to make payments though, or if you set up a 2nd Paypal account, you could send the money to yourself. There would be fees associated with doing this.

    Thats interesting!
I dont want to add money to the virtual card - but i do want to use the balance of the virtual card along with my own funds already in my paypal account to buy a camera off a seller in the UK.
The seller will accept a cheque, paypal or direct bank transfer - so if I can use the balance of the virtual card, I want to make a single payment via paypal.
This still make sense and is it possible?

A payment will come from your Paypal balance first, then a credit card 2nd. If you were to do this, you'd have to have enough between them to make the amount you want to spend, but it will use the cash first, not the card.

    Thanks!

So...... say the camera I want will cost €400 (approx figures)
I add €150 cash to my paypal from my current VISA credit card or bank account, then if I add the €250 voucher I will have €400 in my paypal.

Going on what you said above paypal will take the €150 cash first before using the card. But will paypal try to use my existing VISA card before the virtual voucher?

So do i need to remove the VISA from my account 1st - or am i reading too much into it??

    Thanks again!

It will only ever fund from one card, but I think you can prioritise them. Don't remove a card unless you have to. You won't be able to add cash from your Visa card either, and to add funds from a bank account is not quite as simple as that either. The process is explained in the FAQ at the top of the forum though.

It should work. Exchange rates can be a cause of problem too though, and €400 one minute, could be €401 the next, and you wouldn't have the money available.

    Cheers for all of above.
Worked perfectly when I used both mine and the other half's separate paypal accounts (although it did cost me also €18 in fees in total!)

This thread is a year old, and the last two posts have nothing to do with what the OP was trying to do. Don't drag up old threads with irrelevant information.
