    Hi,
I've a fair bit of pain in my neck, moreso in my shoulder(left) and then also in my left arm. after a bit of research i believe its a trapped nerve. muscle rubs are not helping any.

i first noticed it on saturday morning when i got up out of my bed so I'd thought at the time maybe i was lying awkwardly or something just.

Anyone know of any self-treatment to help ease the pain ?

also is there maybe something long-term wrong in the neck area for me, should I delve further into that and get my neck shoulder area looked at properly to avoid further future occurrences ?
(the same thing happened only 6 months ago)

I do intend getting to the doctor tomorrow and if the pain persists then an mri scan maybe.
