Looks quite good, anyone used this site before?

They don't seem to be like pigsback and allow refunds, but they do allow accommodation on a Friday/Saturday night unlike most pigsback stuff

It says on their FB page that they have a Galway deal coming up soon! Im def going to keep an eye on this site, as I think this deal is fantastic for a 5* let alone any other stars

Stayed in the Savoy a while back - had the best hotel breakfast I've had in Ireland. It's a lovely hotel.

I'll second their breakfast. All cooked fresh to order not a big slop tray you pick from.

Rooms are great and the restraunt beside it downstairs which is part of the hotel is very nice and reasonable prices. Ate there both nights I was staying.

Free nuts when your getting a drink in the bar too!

Gym and pool are tiny though.

7 day cooling off period for distance selling would apply.

Seems like 99 euro is the standard rate when booking directly with the hotel. So really this is a free lunch.

Edit: actually the 99 rate doesn't include breakfast. So its free lunch and breakfast :D

I have availed of this deal before and I can't recommend the hotel enough. I went for the room upgrade and we ate in the Hamptons Restaurant next door which is really fab but you have to book in advance as it is very popular...

Good hotel and an excellent deal - booked for this Saturday! Two issues though: when i rang hotel to book, they seemed to think that breakfast wasn't included in the deal, but added it without issue. Slightly worrying however is that they required my credit card number to guarantee the booking - given that I have already paid BedDeals, the hotel should not be looking for my card (unless they think I'll trash the place or something!).

Gotta say that the deals I've seen so far on that site are really good. I'd book all of them if I had the cash!

I preusme if you are a single person staying their you would be charged for the full amount

Availed of this offer this weekend. Great value and well worth the money! Superb breakfast.

Some info for others using the voucher:
Beddeals don't clarify exactly what they mean by their 'lunch included' option. In fact, you can order whatever you want from the lunch / all day menu and will receive €10 per person (should cover soup + sandwich) off the bill. If you're absolutley determined to get the most for your money, go for the afternoon tea option as this is worth €26 for two people (and includes sandwiches anyway....). Parking is in the Harvey's Quay multistorey directly across the road from the hotel above Dunnes Stores (need to turn off Henry St onto the quay). Note as you drive down Henry St, there is another car park (Howley's Quay) just before the Dunnes one - don't go in there! Parking is free for hotel residents 18.30 - 08.00. In the likely event this isn't particularly convenient, the hotel have a deal for 24 hours parking for €7.50 (ticket valuidated at check out). This does NOT allow you to go in and out during that time though (hourly rate of €1.70 applies then).

Was the upgrade a good option. What does the club lounge entail?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 798 ✭✭✭maiden

Not sure what the upgrade is, could it be this complimentary stuff:

    http://www.savoylimerick.com/accommodation.html

Sorry meant to say check out the the facilities with the executive rooms

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,023 ✭✭✭Greentree_uk

Has anyone purchased from this website?
Just had a look and they have some great deals but have never heard of the website before or know of anyone who purchased from it so any feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, bought the Savoy deal. No problems - my experience is on page 1 of this thread.
