Couldn't agree more on the warrior gear lads - bloody pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I don't get why everybody's always calling it expensive. It costs buttons compared to most similar kit, in fact it's so cheap I was suspicious of it at first. Look at what Blackhawk charge, for example, for stuff that's quite likely to be less robust. Warrior Assault Systems gear only costs a bit more than knock-offs, in my opinion it's a steal. And I'm skint!

I hear what you're saying but the base of the rig is £119.00 and by the time you add a few bits of Molle the figure is closer to £200! Then take into account that postage is a standard £17 and then the conversion rate and it now has become expensive for the average airsofter! IMO
That said I believe it's worth every penny and I own 2 chest rigs and a plb and harness rig - and will never part with them! Money well spent! Well made - functional and good looking to boot! Happy days! ;)

mine was no were near that price in fairness cost me 130 euro but i didn't got for the elite one . But the Vest does the job is it made for .

likewise Jeawan, mine cost me just under 130.
but since then they seemed to be slowly adding on a extra few quid here and there. Still though, its a piece of kit you buy once. whereas with the chinese ****e you end up spending the same money time and time again. Kinda highlights the point that spending the extra couple of quid once saves you money in the long run

before anyone jumps on that, theres always an excpetion somwhere down the line for someone, but not for me:D

I have to agree with Shane, Warrior stuff is actually pi$$ cheap for what you're getting. Try Blackhawk! and Eagle Industries for stupid expensive.

Hell the Warrior RICAS can work out cheaper than a Pantac CIRAS!

Sorry, I should have qualified what I said.
Tan/OD kit is pretty fairly priced.

But the newer CB and Multicam stuff makes your eyes water!

Here's the pricing for a full rig (typical) - all prices sterling:
    Multicam Raptor base rig: 150
    Multicam radio pouch: 20
    Multicam mag pouch (x5): 13 x 5 = 65
    Multicam admin pouch: 15
    Multicam utility pouch: 20
    Multicam hydration pouch: 30

Now - that's a pretty typical rig, by anyone's standards I reckon. Not over the top - enough mag holders and basic utility storage.
And that'll be 300 sterling before shipping (which at xe.com's rate for today will be: 355.07 Euro).

Versus 180 quid for the fully loaded tan plate carrier (with all the above and more).

I understand trying to charge more for multicam (given that's it's actual multicam fabric, trade-marked etc) - but why the coyote brown (flat colour, just like the tan!) is the same price I do not understand.

I spent a good bit of time talking to UK Tactical about the differences between the Professional and Elite Ops kit. The Elite Ops fabric (both CB & Multicam) is different to the Professional, it's softer but it's actually tougher than the regular fabric. It is dyed with a different process to ensure colour fastness. They use a different, higher-grade milspec thread in the Elite Ops. Another feature that is not relevant to airsofters but is a factor in the real world is that the Elite Ops kit has a much lower IR signature.

It can be argued that airsofters have no business buying the Elite Ops gear but, speaking for myself, no matter what I do I always buy the best kit available and in my view that is WAS Elite Ops.

@MD: You see CB is the new first choice of the fashionista! It's always good for a laugh to look at bidding wars on eBay for a new EI triple M4 pouch in CB. The stuff goes for silly money, but not as bad as genuine AOR1 stuff. Now that stuff's got mental pricing!

not sure why we have no place buying it... they dont make the professional pouches in CB or Multicam, thus, if you dont want Tan or OD, you have to get it...
I always order from UK tac, and the warrior kit i have is hard as nails. grand stuff, and very very functional. Its why im dropping £300 on kit for senny there tomorrow (payday yay)

    Same here.
By my calculation, and based on prior orders, the stuff I ordered on Tuesday night should be arriving by chartered winged spider monkey some time today!
    Awesome.

Slightly off topic, but ordered some boots from uk tac once, one of thier lot calls me up, and tells me 'sorry, website said it was in stock, but we dont have any, we're really sorry, want to order something else?'

I describe what I need... all leather, size, high instep, etc... she tottles off, saying she will ring back, and 5 minutes later comes back with a pair of Bates, that she says they will reduce to the same price as the magnums for the inconvininience... That's darn good service. UK tac are one of my favourite places to buy kit. For work, or airsoft.

    +1

    This gear is great.

You really do get good value for money in fairness.
I've had the cheap knock off Chinese stuff and Warrior gear blows it clean out of the water.
I looked around for a while with regards to the quality of gear and price and UKtactical came up trumps each time.

I too order all my gear from them.
I got Warrior 901 Elite last year and added more open mag pouches and frag pouches to it, very customisable. Also got the dump pouch leg panel and Bates Desert boot, which I love.
I've another order in for next week (fly spider monkey fly!!) to add the back panel to it and warrior cargo pack and Oakley gloves and.......well this list goes on.:o

Anyone thinking of getting a standard rate vest or other gear hold off, put a bit more cash to it and order the warrior gear. You won't be dissappointed.

    ........awaiting backhander from UKtac........:D
