I have not used this site for over a year and as a favour post a request in two sections... I get banned straight away and what really pisses me off was the mod had a link to the FF site in his sig... anyone who supports FF in my opinion needs to get checked out.

I remebmber when boards was a friendly place, I do think he is an exception.

Is a FG/Labour government set in stone?

I've moved this to the Dispute Resolution forum as that's the place to post if you feel you've been unfairly treated by a moderator. I'm not sure why you slotted it into the General Election forum but this is the appropriate place.

Have you contacted the moderator in question to query the decision? (I have to admit I'm a bit confused as I can't see any current bans on your account or any other bans apart from a seven-day ban from After Hours some time before 2008. I also can't see any red or yellow cards on your account). The flowchart above shows you the procedure to follow.

I can see a post cross-posted six times today in six different forums from your account though about looking for a couch or bed - any chance this might have something to do with it?

hmmm I was banned for 3 days, and I posted the thread twice today... one got removed as it was deemed in the wrong place, although if the post was read fully it might have made sence to post it there.

Did you ask any of the moderators of the forums you posted in if you could post a request for accommodation?

Boards isn't like the notice boards outside the supermarket where you can throw up an ad for guitar lessons and a request for digs. A three day ban is nothing. Ask the mods in advance in future and you won't have any more issues.

I'll ignore the bit about the political affiliations (if any) of the mod in question due to complete irrelevance.

    Have a nice day. :)
