XP: Windows open off the screen

    I'm having a problem with Windows XP machine I'm using.

    Some applications (Notepad and Google Chrome) always open off the screen, the only way to see them is to right click on them in the taskbar and choose maximise. When I minimise, they go entirely off the screen.

    Any way of fixing this? Or resetting their minimise window position?
