    I'm - Sidi 44
    - Shimano 43

They tend to be "small fitting"! I'm a 45 in Specialized and Shimano and 46 fits me really nicely in Sidis. I think this is mainly because they are narrow and I have quite broad feet. They do have a "broad fitting" option too! I would really try before you buy!

very small. i had a pair of 43's and they were way too tight on the toes, go up a size at least.

I find SIDI shoes narrow. Prefer Specialized fitting.

yeah certainly narrow... and what I noticed was that initally I thought yeah ok fit is snug but it will be fine I soon found out after about an hour on the bike that they were too tight in width and were uncomfortable and this was also with no real tension an rachet or velcro straps..

    LOVELY LOOKING SHOE THOUGH ..!!!!

Probably going to be jumped on but IMHO, like Assos, they are worth the extra! Keep an eye open and you'll find them at a good price!

I take a 44 Shimano and 45 SIDI. Go a size up from whatever your Shimano size would be and maybe even the wide fitting version too.

SIDI are very narrow especially compared with Shimano but they do "wide" versions for some of their shoes. I find the tongue on the SIDI bites into my foot which is really anoying. So until I can soften the leather a little bit, it's the trusty old Shimano R075's for me! Although I do put SIDI overshoes on them...

Sidi same size as normal shoes for me, had mine for 2 years now, snug as a bug, but BUT with the 'Mega' wide fitting

sorry to root up an old thread but saves opening a new one.

thinking of getting a pair of Sidi's. never have had a need to get a wide fit shoe. always take UK 12 in converse, 47 in Specialized, 47 in Diadoras (got a 48 for winter socks and more wiggle room late last year and sold the Specialized's).

would the extra size euro 48 be ok? would be using them for summer with the thinner sock and maybe early spring/autumn.

Im a 46 in shimano, went a size up (47) for sidis.. wore them around the house and found them too big, took a 46, they fit fine, a LITTLE narrow, but all in all good...

If you have a somewhat wide foot then maybe go for a 47, wide... very nice shoes though.. happy with mine

I've two pairs of Sidis, in sizes 42 and 43. The 42s are just a wee bit short in length and height to be comfortable and the 43s are a bit too wide. Extrapolate from that what you will.

Sidi'a "Mega" range are specifically designed for wider feet, and I find I can drop about 2 sizes with them when compared to their standard "fit"

You should have bought a pair in 42.5. That's the best thing about their sizing - most of their models are available in half sizes to ensure a really good fit.

What would recommend I've tried 43cm found them a bit narrow but ok in length 44cm seems ok in width but a shade long.Would I be better with a 43cm MEGA or a 43.5cm normal fit?

Impossible to know. Its always better to try them on before you buy.
