Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bringing some tourists around next thursday and they want to try irish coffee for some reason.

Can anyone recommend a nice pub, preferably on the south side that we can sit down in and won't be too crowded, and will give an irish coffee a decent bash (i.e. will actually have cream?)

    Cheers

Sadly no. However, L. Mulligan Grocer in Stoneybatter have decided that the Irish Coffee needs rescued from crapness and are planning a series of Irish coffee tastings using proper coffee, proper whiskey and, presumably, proper cream. I don't think they've started this yet but they might like the chance for a bit of a practice.

Either way, it's a lovely pub and getting a seat shouldn't be a problem.

The palace bar on fleet street is ok for one, they've also started selling a few craft beers, headless dog in bottles, Galway hooker on draught and a few more.
