Hey all, just wondering how much spending money should I bring with me when I go skiing to Andorra for a week soon. Was never skiing before and was thinking of taking €400 with me. Would that be enough?

I've not been to Andorra, but I suppose it depends on what you're looking for and what you've already paid for?

have you ski hire, passes & lessons inc in your package price?

400 would be fine once you have already payed for you lift pass, lessions and ski rental.
Lift passes are typically about 180euro and ski hire about 100.

At the end of the day you can only spend what you have. Im sure you could get by on 200 if needs be, spending 400 would just involve having more fun:)

My last ski trip i doubt i spent more than 250 once ski pass and rental were taken out of the equation. That was in livigno tho which is pretty cheap, i have no idea about prices where your going.

Depends how much beer you'l be drinking, how much food you have on the mountain, where on the mountain you eat, do you "steal" stuff from the hotel breakfast buffet and make a pack lunch for the mountain, do you have evening meals included at the hotel...etc

Food up the mountain can cost a lot, so try and get a couple of bottles of water from the shops and just bring a bottle each day. Same with snacks.

400 should cover a good week in Andorra drinking. Its a tax free area so prices are a little less than Ireland. They also do a lot of Apres Ski two pints for the price of one type deals, up until 7 or so.

Thanks guys. My ski lift passes, lessons and skis are included. We also get breakfast and evening meals included also. So by sounds of things €400 is plenty. Dont want to spend that much anyway so hopefully I'll come home with some money.
