    Ta man maybe you can clear this up for me I only shoot in the relavent seasons I am not in any gun club but have been shooting for many years on pigeon shooting dvds I have watched lately I noticed plent of shooting that is clearly durning summer months is this allowed??

    The pigeon season in Ireland is 01 Nov - 31 Jan. My understanding though that pigeon can be shot all year over a standing crop, ie for crop protection. The DVD's you are watching are most lightly made in the UK. I am not sure how their pigeon season works.

    in the uk pigeon can be shot all year round no season.
    thats the way it used to be here untill some gob****e put a game status on them.

    how do you defo know dvd's were irish? where did you buy them i wouldnt mind getting a look at them myself, the last pigeon shooting vid i seen was of archie coates a long time ago:eek:
