    I am 22!

    I sing!

I love Hard Rock, Grunge, Post Grunge, Metal and some alternative and blues stuff.

My favourite artists of all time are; Alter Bridge, Guns N Roses, The Answer, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Ac/Dc, Jeff Buckley, Sound Garden, Black Stone Cherry, Airbourne, Slash, The Mayfield 4, Audio Slave.

I am desperate to join a band now and I'm prepared to travel within an hour of waterford.

    hi. hows it goin?

    1. do you play an instrument?
    2. do you have your own p.a. system?
    3. do you have your own transport?
    4. how much would you expect to be paid for a gig?

pm me with the answers if you dont want them on public view.

I'm a bass player living in Waterford city and I'd be interested in getting something going in the vein of Alter Bridge maybe if we could find a guitarist and drummer!

    Hey guys,
My band is looking for a Singer/Bassist, We are from Nenagh in Tipperary.
We also practice in Nenagh. We have the equipment, A bass amp and a PA system ready. We just lack members.
We want to do an original metal band. The type of vocals we would be looking for is heavy eg Hatebreed style or along those lines or whatever works!
Our main influences would be: Gojira, Chimaira, Korn, Megadeth, Terror, Hatebreed, etc, etc.
    Let me know!

Not for me lad, make sure to check bands that people mention in future before commenting on their posts. Good luck with your search anyway.

    Your first post says:

and Pure Skum has listed metal influences so why tell him to check bands when if you love metal chances are you'd like many of the ones he's listed?

Yes but I also posted what bands I like for reference, to show what kind of Metal I like. The heaviest of Metal bands I listen to would be very soft in comparison with Pure Skum's. "Alter Bridge" for e.g are prob the heaviest band on my list where as they would be the lightest if added to his list.

Anyway wasn't being a prick or anything, was just pointing out that I had listed bands to show the kind of music I like in the genres.

That's a good point actually now that I re-read your list of influences. You never know though, even with a seemingly incompatible set of influences there might be some chemistry there :).

Hi there, our band is currently on the look-out for a new vocalist and your influences sound very compatible to our sound. We are an original band, with upcoming gigs and about to record our debut E.P. If you are interested, drop me a pm and we can work something out. BTW we are based just outside Waterford City. Obviously, own gear, transport and commitment are essential.
    Thanks.
