    Hi,

My workplace wants me to move into an insolvency role for them in the coming months and want me to do an insolvency course.

I know the Chartered Accountants offer one but it is very expensive at €3k and I will have to pay for it myself. Does anyone know of any other courses in Ireland which I could do on this area?

    Thanks.

Peaches there is a few CDP courses in the area ( one on 22nd Feb as far as I know which coveres some areas of liquidation) but as far as I know this chartered one is the only proper course in ireland.

If you are starting in March I might see you there!

The law society do a diploma course in insolvency and corporate recovery and it is open to qualified accountants and is cheaper than the Institutes. Mind you it is probably more geared towards the legal profession but might be an alternative.
It would be no harm in getting the prospectus and comparing both.
