3G Watchdog App

I installed the 3g watchdog app to moniter my monthly allowance which is 1 GB. However, I am up around 95% usage at the moment according to 3g app yet when i check the on line usage with my vodafone it sates that I have only used 15%, thats a huge discrepancy.

Anyone know why the 3g watchdog program could be so wrong or is it just the fact that vodafone cant log usage properly, either way its a nightmare as to which one to thrust! last month was the same with the 3g app way over then what the vodafone usage stated! im just afraid that if i go with the vodafone usage details then they will at some stage down the road further bill me for usage which they forgot to bill, can they do this?

Any one know of a more reliable 3g monitoring app? :)

That vodafone web monitor thing is very slow to update. I'd say the 3G watchdog is correct.

Ive a feeling that 3g watchdog is correct thats the bloody worry! However, last month 3g watchdog had me at 75% usage and my usage for last month according to vodafone was only 25%, seems to be following a similar trend this month. As i am billed mid month and up around 95% usage already I would love to have peace of mind that if I log on today and see my usage at only x amount that is all i can get billed for , so can blast away willy nilly , it might be worth a print-screen just for proof. I mean they show usage up to yesterday so there must be gaps in certain days or times of days as after looking at the usage report they have definitely failed to log certain times Ive used 3g!

I checked my 3g watchdog against Vodafones stats and it was exactly spot on with my used data so I would trust it.

Of course I have to ask did you input.the correct limits of 1gb per month on.the first day of your new allowance?

I think the problem might lie there given the huge discrepancy.

yes I put in all correct details all right, definitely there is no correlation between 3g watchdog and vodafone stats for me and I would say the problem lies with Vodafone to be honest , which technically means i get more allowance, the only thing is can they bill me for this down the road or once the month has passed I wonder is that the end of the matter, as is the case for me now as i am in my second month anyway so had everything started clean for this month. Not that I have exceeded the threshold yet by the way but am very close with only a 5% allowance remaining.

As of today 3g says 95% usage , vodafone states 15%. If I do a printscreen should that stand up should any questions occur down the road!
