    Hi Guys

Currently have my UPC box downstairs (broadband only)

I was tempted to move to the 100Mb Broadband and want the Box installed in my box room.

I was also going to sign up for basic tv and get this in my bedroom across the hall.

Would they also put a box in this room and run the tv cable from the box in the box room, outside and around the house - into the box in my bedroom.

IE - I want the router in the box room and cable to get digital tv in the bedroom, wanting the wire to run around the house for the tv.

If you put the broadband cable in your attic into a splitter and attach a tv cable into the splitter and drill a small hole in your room ceiling and run the cable down the wall. If you stop your t.v subscription you will have free t.v. Or if its downstairs run a cable up to your room. Unplug your modem downstairs and plug it in in your room.

Or just send your broadband around your house using something like homeplug?

I'm only on a 15mb connection and I've extended my wifi network using an airport express connected to the Cisco router. I didn't want UPC to run the cables into my bedroom.

    @ patrickmooney

Thanks for the reply, im currently using the homeplugs at the moment but would have to upgrade them if i moved to 100Mb, id rather have the router in the boxroom.

Don't really want to go down the route of putting cables through the ceiling
