    I have what i think is a quarter guinea dated 1786. Its in great condition, got it as a gift. Anyone know the value of it or a range of values?

    I saw one on ebay for £500.

    I've discovered it must actually be a full guinea as quarter guineas were only minted in 1718 and 1762.
