Central Heating - Change from Oil

    Hi,

    Just looking for some opinions!
We're in a 4 bed semi and currently have oil central heating, no back boiler but heating does heat the water in the imersion.

Our last oil bill was €600  in December and the first bill of the winter was €400 so so-far its been €1000 in oil this winter. The boiler we have was installed by my Dad at least 25 years ago (if not more) and I think it was a reconditioned boiler then.

We are thinking of changing this year and wondering what would be a good option. I'd love a stove or range but I think my Mam would prefer gas.

Would we also need to change the rads? Any ideas greatly appreciated!
