It means you're allowed progress into this semester but you'll still need to repeat it in the summer

does the carry on a fail subject to next year not apply? (i dont have any other repeats, and no exams this semester)

You're still gonna have to repeat it in the summer. If you fail it at that point, you may carry it into next year as one of your two carries.

Can you carry 2 subjects from same semester onto the next year do you know?
Heard some people say it was one from each semester and others saying it's just two from any semester per year

Two subjects in total. Doesn't matter what semester.

    Anyone help,

I Got 28 in one project based subject and a 35 in a exam based subject.

Says exemptions granted but stage incomplete which is due to me failing.

Is there any point in me having the 28% exam rechecked as will I still fail the semester or will compensation come into play?

Aint no way you can get an extra 12% in compensation.
Compensation is for when you get 35% - 39%
