Incorrect bookies prices

    If a bookie has a price online that is clearly incorrect, and you lump on it, are they obliged to pay out or would they be covered in their T&Cs?

    Fair enough, but does anyone have any experience of anything similar happening to them?

    You will not get paid out at the incorrect price. Once your bet goes on it will no doubt be spotted. They will then usually contact you to offer you the choice of paying the bet out at the correct price or voiding it if you get back to them before the event.

    Yeah, most of the time they'll just void the bet and return your stake once they find out. Happened to me several times over the years.

    It's probably a better idea to let them know about the error, as you might get a little bonus instead.

    Handicap bet for Irl V italy on sat. PP had Irl at scratch at 10/11 which would clearly be wrong. I actually noticed a few of their rugby odds on Tuesday were wrong.

    Presumed they'd just void the bet, but for some reason got on it anyway...

    Actually a loss. It went through at Irl -13, but I explained to them what happened, sent screen grab of online receipt and got money back.

    Got 3 mispriced bets that I remember with PP. One a golf in running that was a 1/4 shot and got 7/4 and 2 rugby h/cap's where h/caps were off by a few points. Got paid on all 3.
    Biggest bet was 200 @ 10/11.

    I backed Joe Canning frist goal scorer @ 13/1 a couple of years ago with PaddyPower he was normally 5/2 so i knew it was wrong, he did score the frist goal but I was only paid out at 5/2! Would they have refund the bet had he not scored the frist goal???

    Usually they would contact you before the game started to inform you of the error and give you the option to void the bet.

    If they didn't hear back from you then they would just settle at the correct price if it wins and settle it as a loser if it didn't.

    Just now for about 3 minutes on PP. Prices wrong way round (sorry dont know how to do screenshots). Wonder if you would get paid on that

    ha maybe they were fortune tellers - England got up. Prices were wrong but still..thats another 1/100 shot beaten on the cricket. First England now SA by England.
