its a pain in the arse when playing Sabotage or domination especially if teh other team are playing to teh objective.I had one of the longest games last night on it, we managed to get one explosion but for the life of us couldnt get across the map to get to the otherone coz they just had it blocked off. like lemmings to their gun fire we were. Frustrating and i was close to rage quitting But i remembered that I did exactly the same thing when i was defending so couldnt complain.

over all though yeat i like it plenty of oppertunities to just pop up on someone and get a sneaky kill

Launch is crap. The fackin screen turns upside down when the rocket goes off.

In general I dont like launch, just doesnt work for me. Although I did find it useful for the hardline Pro perk, camped down in the back sharing out care packages.

Ohhhhh the penny just dropped, haha ah its ann alright map, b dom is very annoying to get it the rocket goes off, an people coming in from the top, an camping on the sides.

I think Launch is a good map. The one I dont like is Hanoi.

Launch is good, what I dont like Crisis, too much sand.

Hanoi is craptacular, worst COD map in years. getting a chopper gunner is pointless on it. Launch is meh, the spawns are a pain, you get to the raised middle part thinking you can stop the other team coming your way then they all spawn behind you, ridiculous.

Nuketown is the most fun map, its just insanity from start to finish, anyone played demolition on it? the A site is right in the middle between the bus and fire truck, is a nightmare to get to but makes for a brilliant game. flak jacket essential!

Cracked is meh, Summit is freakin awesome, best map on the game by far works for every game type. Jungle can be good but annoying at times, Radiation is the same. WMD is great for domination, Array is alright but everyone runs for that one point near the blowy up truck of death at the beginning.
Crisis can fcuk off and all, it may actually be worse than Hanoi, hugely unbalanced, a nightmare to navigate and that stupid beach area is a pain in the arse.

The maps in Blops overall arent a patch on Cod4 and MW2, imo Terminal is the best COD map, its so much fun to play, theres choke points, open areas, sniping positions, close quarter areas, room for air support, its got everything, and its not your typical bombed out city/factory setting like most of the maps on Blops are.

What's hilarious is that my opinions have completely changed since those posts.

I put Array as my favourite, now its my least favourite behind Hanoi and Crisis.
I created the second thread cause I hated Nuketown so much and wanted to be sure other people did too.... . Now I love the bloody map :rolleyes:


Anyway, Launch.... I have a love / hate relationship with it. I like FFA on it, but not a huge fan of the objective games there.
The stupidity of having the rocket actually launching in every game gets on my nerves too.

Actually, Does the camera shake in killcams when you were killed during the shake, but has since stopped shaking in game?

(Glass and smoke do not rerender in killcams if anyone is confused to why I am asking..)
