IMO you could do a lot worse than this Link

Super Talent 16GB 16G USB 3.0 Approximately €30.63 including shipping but they say expect delivery in 12 - 18 working days so more like 20+ :P

SanDisk Cruzer Blade 16GB on Amazon is another alternative and it is just £13.79 if the free super saver delivery below £25 is still working.

*I currently use a kingston Data traveller 8Gb...both it in Parnell St. about 5 years ago for 32 euro...stilkl going strong despite the casing coming apart (just clicked back together)...i'd rather something bigger and faster though.*

I bought 16GB Sandisk Cruzer for €22 in a shop. Back in 2008

    Price is supply and demand.

2.5" drives are cheap as chips , what could you get in a 1.8" or 1" ?

I ordered a blue one the day this thread was made at the start of the month, just checked there and its not due to be dispatched until next week! And they charged me for delivery when it said Id qualified for Super Saver blah blah (I ordered other stuff with it). Angry email fired off to Amazon, will post the response.

I got this in the states over xmas for just $30 not bad, some good speeds on it, not the fastest mind. usually takes me around 10-15 mins to fill it with files ;) for a friend.

    "- Speed — data transfer rates of up to 10 MB/sec. read and 5 MB/sec. write 2"
At those speeds, even if it were a USB3 drive, you wouldn't see any performance gains... (can't see it mentioning USB3 anywhere though)

Not a bad price though, but not all that different from Amazon etc
