Do you get to play much? I remember playing with a guy once, doing quiet well, and then he went missing. Got an email later saying that the twins woke up. How many of yee on here have kids? Just preparing myself for what lies ahead.

I have one child who goes to bed no bother unless I'm about to play XBOX then he's up hassling me, the amount of online games I've had to quit on is ridiculous but I don't mind it's all worth it.
The main problem is when he gets hold of the games as he'll scratch the hell out of any CD he gets his hands on and he'll munch a DS game in seconds so beware of the little sticky hands of doom:pac:

Have a 14 month old myself and usually get an hours gaming in between when he goes to bed and when I do.

At the weekends though, herself takes friday night/sat morning and I take sat night/sun morning so Friday night I could be up 'til all hours :)

That was me, glad you found humour in my pain!

Bear in mind twins is very different, if you have just one baby then "da missus" can look after it while you play. You then pay her back by letting her off to the gym or knitting or learning the offside rule, whatever women like to do in their spare time.

With twins one of us is on duty at all times (pardon the pun) except when they go to bed, so i only ghet to play at night or MAYBE if they have a nap in the afternoon however the planets have to align for them both to go down at the same time.

still, there's always the option to go out to get a pack of cigarettes and never look back...................."Papa?"

I have two dogs, they're like children :)

Have to bring them out to pee/poo but I usually just leave the front door open and let them terrorise the neighborhood

We got a puppy 2 weeks ago, and I'm premently doing a legger to make sure she relieves herself outside!

Seiously though, I heard that the best time to get a bit of gaming is to stay up till the baby is due it's middle of the night feed, maybe 3am. That way herself is catching up on sleep, and you're pretty much undisturbed till the baby wakes up.

Yeah, In an ideal world, that would work but i always find Im too knackered to play well and end up rage quitting or worse.

If you can manage it then yer sorted for now, keep in mind the goalposts are constantly shifting with babies, the only certainties are that the routine will change!

Oh and congratulations, well done me old mucker, will wet the head for ye. Girl or boy?

was playing some Black Ops recently when one of the other players, Irish guy, let a big roar into the mic, then, in a calmer tone, "don't sneak up on daddy like that when he's playing his games. go and help mammy".

    That's hilarious!

Early days man, very early. Haven't been to a hospital yet early. Have browsed around the pregnancy thread's, easy knowing where my priorities lie at the moment! Trying to get a decent killstreak going, what perks to use, gun setup. Think my best is a run of 20.

4 kids and never had a problem with gaming , i dont come on until the smaller 2 are asleep , and the older 2 are good for getting me a cup of tea when i'm in battle :D.

All 4 play the xbox , and it worked out cheaper for me to buy another xbox and flash it.

The only problem is when they are young you leave them win but as they get older they dont leave you win

Nothing worse when your 10 yr old "pwns" you

I have a 3 year old and goes to bed on weekdays at 7.30pm. My gf is studying for her masters so I'm at home most weeknights. Once I get the lunches done, kitchen cleaned (yeah, I'm completely pistol-whipped!) I'm sitting down playing my multiplayer world at war game on the wii! 2 hours later I take a break. 20 seconds later I'm back at it! My little one is such a great sleeper; I'm dead lucky!!!
