Paypal balance too high

    I've only lodged 40euro to my paypal account. Have spent 36euro but my balance is showing at having 14euro to spend

    Do you get a 10euro overdraft or something? There's nothing pending has been like this for a week.

    No overdraft facility unfortunately. If they was my guess would be that the vast majority of people would decide to go overdrawn and then never attempt to pay it back :) It may well be the case that you had 10EUR in your account from having previously having added funds to sold an item and forgotten about it.

    Its definitely not that. Only opened the account in December and haven't sold anything. Have looked at the full short history of the account and the only lodgement is for e40.

    Its a dutch paypal acount if that makes any difference.

    Hmm strange. wouldnt make any difference as to where the account was set up. If you wanted to PM me your email address i can take a really quick look for you and let you know. I'm sure its a very straight forward issue.

    Could it be a special promotion they had that if you add a Bank account to your paypal account or if you put x amount of money in it they give you the €10 as reward.

    Does the €10 not show at all in the history of recent transactions? Even if it was a reward it should show the €10 added.
