@Sables.. you can still hit reply to the post but delete anything in the ....tags so for example in response to V Bull you would be just left with the text below.

Or you could just say @ V Bull so everyone will know who/ which post you are referring to .

I'll remove these few posts once things are understood

When you want to reply to a message with photos, it is generally best to remove the photos so they are not duplicated.

    2 ways to do this.
One can do the usual quick reply quickreply.gif and once the post has been completed, its needs to be edited to remove the photos. edit.gif
The photos are links between and. Remove the whole lot including and. It may be that you just see the photo and not the link between and, then try delete the photo like it is a letter.

The other way is not to quick reply, but hit the Quote button quote.gif
You will see the message you are quoting with either pictures or the links between and. Remove these, but keep the rest of the text. It is only the photos one removes. Occasionally there are photo with no accompanying text. If you quote this and remove photo, then the quote is empty and means nothing. If this happens regularly then I'd advise replacing the photo with a reference text so that it is clear which photo you are referring to.

I don't think I can explain it any clearer.

We don't expect perfection. We're a tolerant lot here and once we see an effort is being made we rarely demand more :)

This discussion is off topic to this thread, but I'm happy to let it continue here until it is clear for all, but I will remove, or perhaps move this discussion it to a new thread to clean up this thread.

Ha Ha we both on the ball here LB :D
