Great work from TV3 tonight.. Corrie, Crime In Mind, Stardust Documentary, the extended Tonight With Vincent Browne...

I always think this show is funny.. The have two analysts go through the evidence year's later and tell the retired guard where his lot fukd up the investigation.

I think most people have a fair idea what happened to Jo Jo Dullard at this stage...

    I dont get it.
Why didnt the taxi driver come forward or report it to Garda, and have they traced the girl the taxi driver saw?

Has anyone ever looked into possibility they were kidnapped for sex slavery trade?

Yeah I remember the time when it was reported.. It was very odd why he didnt come forward.. I think it was a fair bit further down the Waterford road that he was so he may have considered it to be not close enough to to where she was taken to be relevant.... I think the most surprising thing is the fact that he would have stopped and at least take the number of the car when he saw somebody attacking a woman.. I would have thought most people would have taken the number plate and rang the guards...

I remember at the time there was a story of two known English offenders who were roaming the area at the time when she was taken.. There was always the allusion to the fact that this may have been them and that they had taken Jo Jo

I thought they were pretty sure that she was dead.. I guess on the assumption that she would have resurfaced somewhere since if she was alive..

I find that odd,i would have imagined anyone would have took the reg plate also.
I guess they followed up on that sighting and had no leads either,as they said the red car was never identified or the woman.I find that very peculiar they didnt dig into that more.To even find who that girl was who was distressed.

Well in sex slave trade,i am not saying she or others have been taken. But seen as no sightings no bodies no nothing, this happens abroad women taken off the street and sold off to other countries for it.And if took to another country they would be not recognized or looked for there.
Its just a far fetched theory.

Still cant believe there is no information and no leads after all this time.I mean someone who isnt professional and smart would have been caught long time ago.

All sorts of stories about that one CaseyAnn.. I remember the guards searched a dump close to the Curragh a few years back, after it had been claimed that somebody had heard screams there one night close to the time one of the Operation Trace women went missing....

This would be close to where Deirdre Jacob lived, and be within about a 50-70km radius of where the other women were taken. I think at that stage the prime suspect, who I think you know but I probably shouldnt mention on here, was known to be working in the relevant areas at the times in question.. He was questioned about these other murders by Gardaí but would not answer their questions. It seems hugely coincidental that while this man was banged up, NO woman went missing in similar circumstances.

The Gardaí got a HUGE piece of luck that they caught him in the first place.. I mean it was through the bravery of two citizens, not through their own work.. And our "justice" system sees fit to free him after 10.5 years, with him showing no signs of remorse or rehabilitation..

I believe there was some more who have gone missing since he was locked up,and more now aswell.
Some women you have never even heard of on news.Only for the parents of Jo Jo dollard and slow news week i doubt they would have got a look see in Irish media.

Not even a poster or a glimmer of them in media how are people to know missing at all.
