    Hey Guys,

    The Literary and Debating society of NUI Galway are hosting an audience with Paul Collier on the 3rd of February at 7pm in the Kirwan theatre. The meeting is open to both students and members of the public and there is no charge for the event.

    Paul is a Professor of Economics at Ocford University, Director of the Centre for the Study of African Economies and has written many books including The Bottom Billion and The Plundered Planet.

    The Format of the event will be an address to the society by Prof. Collier followed by a Q&A session with him afterwards. Questions can be asked on the night or pre submitted to literaryanddebating@gmail.com

    As it turns out, he'll also be awarded the Honorary Patronage of The Philosophical Society tomorrow at 1pm too, in Trinity. Something which, in retrospect, I have known about for quite some time.
