van trouble

    hi, can anybody help me sort my van out. its 04 mercedes vito and making a pretty bad grinding/wearing noise at the rear wheels area. had brake pads and discs changed but didnt solve the problem, dont think its a wheel bearing, could it be a dif problem. pease help.

    Something dragging or fouling at the rear?

    Is it continuous or just during brake application?

    If you are certain its not the disks/pads or wheel bearings then check that the heat shield may be touching the disk or have something caught in it.

    Is yours the new model or the old, I think they changed around 04. If its the old shape they are front wheel drive, if its the new shape(rwd) then I'm not sure about the vito but the sprinters are prone to diffs letting go...

    i had the same-changed pads and noise gone but brake pedal going to the floor with resistance eventhough i didnt touch the fluid-why????
