    Hello,
We were considering travelling to France in June with Irish Ferries, however the fares are quite expensive. When is the best time to travel bearing in mind good weather and cost of fares, also proximity to ports is essential with 2 kids under 3. We were looking for any decent campsites /resort kid friendly within max 2 hr drive from Roscoff or Cherbourg.

plane it, weve done the under 3 travel but all times with plane then car hire. Somewhere round Royan. (nantes airport , or any round it). There in a couple of hours. Travel light,,,,its not the gobi desert youre going to... they have shops there to that are brilliant for anything and everything from a nappy to a play pen":D

You could also try Celtic Ferries. Were cheaper tham Irish ferries when I looked.
