Ridiculous Amount of Water

Pressure wasnt great in the en suite shower but the other day it reduced to a trickle. When I look at what is coming out of the shower its absolutely ridiculous! However the pressure of the sink in the bathroom is fine, if that makes any difference?

Any ideas what is wrong and how I can improve it?

    God there you have me

Its not an electric shower or anything simply run from the tank
Admitted this is far from my forte

If there is anything I can check to shed a little more light on the situation please let me know as this is killing me and if there is anyway I can sort it myself it would be much appreciated

Hard to advise for sure without model/type but if it's a thermostatic shower it could be the thermostat cartridge or filters, not a DIY job, in fact, not many fixes for showers are DIY. :(

It might simply be the head needs cleaning from lime scale that vinegar will clean

I will post a pick of the shower fitting this evening

And will also remove shower head for cleaning (however I am certain its the flow rather than the shower head needing a clean)

    Cheers

Same happens to ours regularly, limescale. Take off the head and fill with blue harpic, leave for an hour and rinse, solved!

u can check the flow by taking the shower head off and just running it through the hose

Got a couple of photos which may help

I had removed the shower head to clean it but still the flow of water is restricted to a trickle
