Why is Twin wall flue systems so expensive

Hi all,

I understand why twin wall insulated flues are expensive but i am only looking for small sections and quotes are off the wall.

Basically i am looking for 2 x 1000mm sections, 2 x 45 elbow bends and 1 x Chinaman cowl.

All of the above 5 inch diameter.

I am installing a stand alone stove, the first section of flue will be cast Iron, roughly 4ft in length, then the above twin wall flue sections will be connected. I am challenged as the flue will be going through a plaster board, insulation, marine ply and Treated timber ship lap exterior finish, hence the need for twin wall insulated flue sections.

Any pointers, Price's advise would be greatly appreciated!

MI Flues in Meath.

They are very good,Ive dealt with them before.They make flue pipes and flue kits in their factory in Meath.

Thanks for that, i did come across M1 in my search last week, i was'nt sure if they dealt with small jobs as opposed to wholesale, sent them an email last friday and no response, might try to call them in the am!
