WIT Young Fine Gael are kick starting their Register to Vote Campaign again on campus, to encourage more people to register for the upcoming elections and have their voice heard. The campaign is entitled "Stand Up and Vote".

This slogan and campaign is centred around a combination of dissatisfaction in today's government and how we all have an opinion on our current political and financial status. However in the last election 1 million eligible voters didn't do so. We say no more to arguing in the arm chair, talking in the canteen and giving unheard advice in the local bar. The only way we get heard is by voting. There is strength in the masses, and after all,l are we not all saying the same theing?

Lets stop whinging. The country cant hear you. Register to vote today. Stand UP an VOTE.

WIT Yong Fine Gael have a number of stalls spread out over both the WIT Campuses withe information leaflets on registering, and two forms - one if you are not on thee register of electors and thee otheer if you want to change your address so you can vote elsewhere. We will be located around these stalls starting on Monday from 10am - 2pm . This campaign will run until February 25th, where registration for the electoral register closes (14 days before election).

Note: This is the current date, but it is expected to be much earlier in February as the government will be announcing an earlier date for the election. So register now to avoid disappointment and have your voice heard
