is there any accounting programme u can recommend me to use?

it would be better if it is simple and easy to use for very small company.

bookeeper has no experience of accounting.

is it possible to download it simply and use straightaway?

Talk to your accountant. They will normally recommend a package that they use and would possibly be able to provide training for the bookkeeper as well.
Regarding the package it depends what you want from it reporting wise and it is best to sit down with your accountant and go from there.
The main ones for small businesses would be Sage Line 50, QuickBooks, Tas etc with some form of payroll software as well.

    Hello All,

Try the Sage.ie site for their free Accounts & Payroll software.

It is only suitable for small busineses.

Let me know if you need help.

Sage do Tas Basics which is a free accounts package. It will do all the basics for you bar invoicing and staments . If you needed a little more than that maybe take a look at Instant accounts which is an entry level package. Its worth downloading and taking a look either way as it will not cost you anything.

Quickpay Free is the free payroll package. It is a fully working payroll package with all the functionality of Quickpay Plus but it is limited to 5 employees (including starters and leavers in the year).

You get 30 days free support with both free products (Tas Basics and Quickpay Free). I am connected with Sage

I asked specifically - is there not 30 days support with the product? - and was given a emphatic no! but a helpful; "i can transfer you through to one of our sales team to buy it...".......same as i remember them

apologies but I seem to have been unclear in my reply. 30 days free support is provided with the free products which includes the Tas Basics and Quickpay Free products that I was providing information on.

With Instant accounts free support is not provided. Support is not mandatory but can be purchased if needed.
