Dell 15r?

    Thinking about buying a Dell 15r laptop, spec is;
    -Intel Core i3-370m Processor
    -Windows 7
    -3GB Memory & 320GB hard drive
    -15.6" HD LED screen with True-life

    Price at the moment is 529euro. What do people think? good value for money or not?
    I need something with decent performance and good battery life as use my laptop on the go.
    It only comes with 1yr warranty but there is a option to extend at not what I would call reasonable price so I probably would opt not to choose the extended warranty just hoping it would be a reliable system.

    Any help or suggestions of a different brand laptop in that price range would be appreciated.

    depends on what your looking for it to do
    I got a similar model except with a 1gig graphics card for €599(I need it for cad/gaming) and its a good laptop

    There is no option for me to upgrade parts on that model. How do you find the battery lift?

    I bought mine from harvey norman

    battery life good compared to my last one it lasts about 3hrs (i think) i haven't really tested it though kept it plug in whenever possible
