    Hi lads
Just looking for a bit of insider info on the DBOY KAC PDW AEG. I skirmish on a very open site so range and accuracy are of utter importance. Is it any good out of the box or does it need some work? Tight bore barrel etc?? Also what is the build quality like?? My local shop is selling it for 240 euro any good?

    Thanks lads

    Oh yes.

It's a brilliant aeg. It does everything right, metal but very light relative to an m4. Really solid stock which folds away easily.

It really is easy to aim and maneuver in cqb and in the field. Most aegs can benefit from a hopup change and barrels and the like but its very good from box.

But as a base weapon to build from its also a great starting point. The only thing that disappointments is the mag that comes in the box. They tried to copy the real one and its too light and flimsy. Any standard m4 mag will do.

Try it and you'll like it.

The dboy PDW is reasonably good out of the box. You get what you pay for - it's not going to be as good as a vfc, but then again it costs about half the price.
What it does give you, if it's the body with full trades, is a good set of externals and a gearbox that you can work with in terms of upgrading.

A team mate of mine has both a vfc and a dboys - he actually prefers the dboys, though in fairness he has upgraded the internals quite a bit. But this is something that you can do piece by piece over time.

    I'd say go for it.
