    Hi there,
Can anyone help me with two pieces of information I need for a new advertising campaign.

    1. What is the % of online sales in Ireland this year for christmas..?
(you would think this piece of info would be easily obtained without trawling through loads of info ...)
    2. What time are most Irish people online, and browsing the internet.. is it druing the day at work, or in the evening.
    3. Do most of us, book hotels & holidays during the day or in the evening ?
Any help with this would be great.
    Thanks

    1. Don't know.

    2. I'm sure there are figures out there but from our experience I would say that Sunday evening was the busiest period for internet browsing and shopping. Especially from a business to consumer basis.

If you can't find figures online then for a rough guide watch the no. of users on boards.ie home page. I'd say that was a pretty good gauge to base your estimates on.

    3. From personal experience, browse during the day but buy in the evening after discussing with the Mrs!

    Good luck!

    Thanks anyway.

You would think this info would be available, but I have been trawling through so much info looking for the stats, that my head is melted.
does anyone out there have any ideas or even figs for 2009 christmas shopping..?
