This only came out about 3 weeks ago but has been pulled from every cinema in the Dublin area (or the main ones I've checked!).

Does anybody know where is showing "It's Kind of a Funny Story" at the moment?

It's online but can't tell you anymore.Thems the rules.

Looks to be a decent movie and reviews seem to be favourable.

dissapointed because it came out at the same as the King's Speech and obviously chose the latter, few weekends roll on and it's gone. I heard the reviews are luke warm, not that funny, but would still like to have seen the movie.

I saw it in the cinema a few weeks back (at least 2, probably 4 or 5); Cineworld on Parnell St showed it. it was pretty good

It's dreadful!...i saw it Friday night, horrible unfunny movie. Emma Roberts was crap, she may not have even appeared in the movie. The script, acting is rubbish....painful movie to watch.

You won't get it at a cinema at this stage unfortunately, but I imagine it'll be out on DVD in a month or two.
I was lucky enough to catch it when Cineworld were showing it - thought it was absolutely fantastic. Easily one of my favourite films of all time - leaves you with the same kind of good feeling that the Pursuit of Happyness does.
For those who are complaining it wasn't funny - well done on being completely oblivious to the fact that it wasn't meant to be a comedy.

It's a good, quirky, funny little film.
A little bit too much of a teen movie for my liking but well made.
Zach galwatsisface gives a fantastic performance.

Thought it was a very well made movie, funny and quirky in places with just the right amount of sentiment, i really really enjoyed it, most reviews have given it the thumbs up as well.

I can only guess your opinion is based on that you thought it was going to be some light slapstick comedy along the lines of the Hangover because Zach Galifianakis was in it.

    Complete opposite.

It was a warm, thought provoking, eye opening look at depression and mental illness with an "awww" lovey dovey story tagged on to it.

I admire this film because it is so open about this disease. Especially the bit where
Craig's second guessing as to why he'd feel this way as he doesn't feel like he should.Coming from a loving family\friends\etc.

Zach is brilliant in this too. I wasn't expecting to like his character as much as I did! Also for those who have seen it:
Do you think he actually went through and killed himself that he fabricated getting in to the house to make Craig feel better?

Yes exactly, I can only see people disliking this as they assume they're walking into an absolute gag fest when in respect it's NOTHING like that is just a very very witty and intelligent look at something that plenty of people struggle to come to terms with.
I took that from it, he lied about getting into the house, there was no talk of a 2nd interview, he didn't celebrate with people he knew for quite some time as he didn't want to be remembered as a fraud ect ect, he did infact kill himself, or so i gather anyway

I hope zach does more of these roles as apposed to being pigeon holed into garbage as the likes of due date.
