DSI XL Error code

    anyone know why DSI XL displays error code 0000FE00 ?

    Its a dead DSi XL code. (?corrupt firmware?). It will need to be sent for repair AFAIK if its still under warranty.

    Someone suggested taking out the battery and putting it back it, doubt it will work, but might be worth a shot. LINK

    Hey thank yo both for your reply. I had seen these already through google but I thought it best to bring it back to the shop as it was only 2 months old. The guy in the shop had never heard of this error code but he just swapped it out for me so happy now:). Although I remember reading some where that the use of the R4 on the XL can cause problems specific to the firmware ?? cant remember where I saw this though. Pity might be a way to follow up

    r4 carts don't do anything to firmware.
    Probably just scare-mongering.
